Leadership & Impact
Building with communities, not around them.
My approach begins with listening. It brings professional knowledge into conversation with lived experience, community wisdom and the realities people navigate every day.

Health equity
Health Equity & Responsible Technology
Closing the listening gap.
Better healthcare begins when women’s experiences are believed, interpreted with cultural understanding and allowed to shape the systems around them.
My work explores maternal-health equity, the healthcare experiences of Black and Asian women, community voice and responsible AI. I am especially interested in the gap between what people say and what institutions are prepared to hear.
A maternal-health venture is in development. Its protected product details remain confidential, but its purpose is clear: to support more responsive, inclusive and human-centred care.
The people most affected by a system should have a meaningful hand in shaping it.
Advocacy & global engagement
Local experience. International conversation.
Advocacy is most useful when it connects public commitments with the daily realities of people and communities.
Earlier leadership
That Child Initiative
Earlier community leadership in Nigeria provided a practical foundation in programme design, partnership-building and accountable delivery.
Through more than 20 health, education and welfare programmes, That Child Initiative reached more than 10,000 children. The experience continues to inform Bola’s belief in work that is ambitious, measurable and rooted in relationship.
